i dropped an mp3 onto my timeline to use as my soundtrack, and when i export it has these little blank "bumps" every half second or so, like a skip. it's not the mp3, as the last project i did with another track did the same thing.
what's going on, and how do i fix it?
thanks

mp3's can be unpredictable in flash. you might convert it to WAV in a sound app.

Fine. You need to convert the mp3 to aiff. Mp3 has a compression which clashes with AE.

flash = AE, sorry
- 305artist0
use a software called mp3 to aiff. Check versiontracker.

after effects no likey the MP3, go uncompressed or go home.
just set audio compression to MP3 on export if that's what you want the end product to be.

ive never had that problem but the conversion idea might help you can use your itunes to perform the conversion

conversion will help for sure, use WAV.
