Thanks for giving us a good ending, at the very least.

Where was Sisko and Janeway in the closing "Space the Final frontier"??? They totally pissed on DS9 and Voyager... I guess it was Enterprise Capts only...

Adios Star Trek it's been a great ride.

Yes, Janeway and Cisco wouldn't know about the voyages of the Starship(s) Enterprise.
Also, let's face it, the franchise deteriorated during those shows. It's not fair they both got 7 seasons each and Enterprise only gets 4, this season being their best.
I always loved The Next Generation best.
Trek will come back. I'm old enough to remember waiting for the first movie. As fans, Trekkeis have had it worse than this.

i have never watched a hoel episode.. only halfs here and there, i just never found it any good.
Trekkeis are a different kind of people

It'll come back. Definitely.
I hope they learn from their mistakes (Continuity, science-based solutions, time travel, gimicks, etc) and the successes of others (Battlestar Galatica, FireFly)

Voyager got really good in season 4 "Year of Hell" The characters never really did it for me in that show though...
DS9 was excellent, from start to finish..but it was so cruel to have TNG cut into it's ratings like that...and then Voyager also. WTF Berman?

i never watched the show regularly but the few episodes i have watched were fantastic. TNG was brilliant, no doubt. haven't watched anything from Enterprise though.

I rem Spock from back when he got his ass stuck on that planet. But that was cool of his shipmates to go retrieve him, and even name a movie after the fact.
But of the few episodes Ive seen on TV I've liked it. I have friends who swear by it but I guess it's one of those things you have to force ur self to watch to be hooked.

This is a pretty sad week for us Sci-fi fans, the two biggest franchises are ending.*
*please not replies about the stupid boba fett TV show, only thing i'm excited about is the clone wars-esque cartoon.

Dude, Data & Pavel were hot.
Mmmmm. I so had a crush on Data when I was nine. He's still hot.

That's my cue to join the slashdot conversation...haha
Have a good weekend everyone.

I agree, very sad although lots of the first few seasons of enterprise was very dissapointing. I'm a big fan of next gen, ds9 and voyager before it became the janeway and 7 of nine show.

good riddance.

Yo, they'll wait 15 years for technology to catch up and then develop the prequels.
bah!

Farewell, my *ss. Until some Cable executive puts together some idea to make more $. Whateva, what comes around goes around.

Just to let you know, there will be an 11th movie, but with no characters from previous series.

I cried - I remembered watching the first onw with my Grandma when I was 12. Sob!

I know Enterprise is over and its always sad to see a series end, but too many people love Star Trek for this to really be The End of the franchise. We just have to be patient.
I bet they'll come up with something great next time.

i though it would be good to go back and do special editions of the original show, just take the voices and the actors faces and recreate everything else digitally... sin city shows it possible (and that tv ad with singing in the rain breakdancin) i know it would piss off purists but imagine the stories with really cool SFX and they could even merge the animated TV series in tot he new special editions... they could even make the kiligons look like they did in the movies and TNG
