I'm just got hit up by this electronics company they want to "hire me" to increase their traffic "via meta tags"
I told them it's more complicated than that, but they insist it's all about the meta tags, so I said, "I have just the right meta tags for you guys, you will be impressed."Now how much do I charge? I mean, these are really good meta tags!

*ahem* is that a legal job?

Are you both under the same understanding of what a metatag is? Are they expecting you to deliver something other than a string of keywords?
- gerbert0
hah, I told them that meta tags were a very small part of what needed to be done but they keep insisting on meta tags, meta tags.
You know, they think they're being up on things, it's just funny to me.I'll actually put some effort into it, but still, easy money.

i'd screw with them. toss out a few numbers to see how they stick. like $250 a word, plus an additional $25,000 for the whole project.
man, if they said "yes" to that...(personally, i wouldn't have the guts to do such a thing.)

I'll charge them a flat $500 meta tag fee and a monthly meta tag maintenence fee of $100 to keep up on those meta tags,.

Hey, this brings up a good question, are any of you all getting any recurring income for something that maintains itself?
