skateboard at 25 years old.
would this be a bad idea?
I don't have great balance, but I don't give up easily.
I just want to do a kickflip.
and pointers for someone just starting out?

it's never too late. do what you want and what makes you happy.

learn how to "ride" it.
then learn how to do a proper ollie (rolling. not in the grass like some dork).
then work on the kick flip.
should only take you about a month.

hahaha. everybody wants to do a kickflip right off the bat. "hey can you show me how to do a kickflip?"
learn to ride, push, feel comfortable, then learn to ollie while going fast, nice clean pop.
then learn how to kickflip.

when i started out it took me a full year to learn how to ollie well.

learn how do ride and feel comfortable both regular and switch right away. trust me you'll be glad you did.

- push off with foot
- hit gravel in road
- fall off
- shatter wrist and elbow
- retire to couch with 40 oz. and give board to your little cousin for xxxmas
