You like? I like the old potentially more. Discuss (if you like...)!

meh

i really dislike the home page. i think it's clunky for a site designed to promote and discuss intimate typographic treatment.

I thought the newer forums would be a bit better, I mean I am sure they are, but theres something that dosnt have enough contrast to me, and none of the information is seperated and easy to find on it.
I think typowiki could be really cool and turn into a good resource overtime. I am wondering if they will add the typophile bookshelf again w/ a new reviewing system. That would be helpful.

looks like the user database is a bit messed up, i can't login and it wont send me a new password and when registering again it says i am already registered
i guess that's what Beta means

Oh tried one more time and instead of a Red octagon i got a blue circle and a new password.
strange

what i wanna see is the work some of these guys do.. they sledge fonts pretty hard and i see little work from them...
be nice to see what they produce - especially after they bag helvetica and more so much...

Rendering titles in flash seems to have some side effects in Firefox, i get weird jumps, when hoovering over links
overall i like it, but i wonder what these Flash glitches are

I have seen some really nice stuff on there.
And really like anything, you don't need be Speilberg to say one of his movies isnt great. These guys critique the typefaces in a serious manner but very constructive from observing.
my login seemed to work without a problem, weird.

The buggiest website in the world

oh my. i really have to get used to the new look i guess. at this point it's too much imo. anyways, the buggyness will pass over in due time but i'm 100% looking forward to the typowiki. that's gonna be a hellacool reference.
and what happened to the typophile toolbar button? it's gone, it doesn't show in my browser anymore although it leaves a magic mark to click on and i can't delete it either.

it is smart, but not smart enough, oh well, better than Newstoday at least

Yes, expect the book reviews back online soon. The real issue was preserving the review content. Expect that as one of the first major updates.
Glad you like the wiki. We definitely think it has lots of potential.
See you there.

Regarding, "seeing what these guys do"...
If you are referring to type design, and not just talking, check out the online critiques.
