this morning at the local deli grabing coffee, the guy tells me a story from 9 years ago about may 5th and how its a cursed day for him...he starts out saying that since he is mexican living in nyc away from home land he is constantly cursed on this day...so it happens 9 years ago he makes it to america for a better life for his family...he has a job and a small apt and has 2 kids...9 years ago 2am may 5th, he leaves work with some others in search of a open restaurant so they can party!!!
it never happend, police surrounded them 'mistaaken identity' and arressted them by having someone pick them out of a lineup...long story short he was in court for 3 months dealing with the headache of getting arrested and going thru court blah blah!
Present day may 5th, i am done with work for the day, i get on the R train and head for home, on the way i stop in the deli and see the worker from the morning and i get a coffee. as i am about to step out of the doorway 2 plain clothed police officers stop me and ask for ID, as a new yorker, i offcourse did not listen to them what so ever as they themselves did not show any ID at all, so i say' WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU??'
'ASKING ME FOR ID...ARE YOU COPS???''YES WE ARE!, NOW SHOW US YOUR ID!!!'
then i ask 'for what????'
they then say ' THIS IS CONNECTION TO A ROBBERY'i say all stunned out ' A ROBBERY!??!!?!? WHERE IN THIS NEIGHBOORHOOD???'
they say 'no, it took place in manhattan'
so i show them my ID and i dont not have the same nake as the guy they are looking for.
so i ask ' why stop me, what does this guy look like????'
the cops start laughiong and pull out the folder and the fucking guy looks just like me!!! shaved head almost same facial expression...it was freaky!
im getting my smoke on now!!!
fucking karma!!

I was in a stripclub bar in Dallas several years ago, when the Texas Rangers escorted me "out back" (rather professionally) through the back door. In the parking lot outside, were three cars parked with their bright headlights shining on the door I was just escorted out of - I couldn't see a thing.
As I stepped out, three FBI agents introduced themselves and told me to 'assume the position'. They searched me, (and didn't find it) and then proceeded to 'interview' me. They knew a WHOLE lot about me and my trip to Dallas already.
When things calmed down a bit, they told me they were looking for a wanted felon, who had murdered and mutilated 3 people in the Texas panhandle area, he was from my home state, and had been seen in that bar before. When they showed me the pictures, it was like looking in the mirror. Except for the glasses and mustache, ("the oldest trick in the book, he said") I was a dead ringer for the guy. He told me they debated stunning me first because I was known to be 'armed and dangerous'.
He apologized, thanked me for my cooperation, told the strip club manager I wasn't the guy, and that he should apologize also - me and my buddies drank for free, and of course all the strippers wanted to ask me "wtf?" - so for a buck, as long as I kept talking about it, they'd stand in front of me dancing and asking questions.
Bonus...
I was never so glad to leave to Texas in my life.
