you do poster work?
I guess you're saying your problem is you took a job for a big pay raise, but the work is less than satisfying.
Well according to your profile, you are about 30. Do you have a family? Maybe soon?
These things factor into your decision. It all depends where you are in your life.i say in today's economy, if you have a job that pays, and you dont have to depend on mom and dad for shit, you are in good shape. When you cant stand it anymore, its time to go.
pretty simple i know but thats it.

Dude - don't worry about being pigeonholed, use your production skills to become a solid designer - your portfolio will speak for itself.
I am acutall sick of "designers" that come to me with just ideas and no execution plan, not knowing how to use a grid or what "working the rag means"
The more production you do, the better you will be as an art director - you need to know everything.
Keep your eye on the prize and work towards your goals -and listen to everyone around you.
