I have a new Epson 2200 and have been printed pages from InDesign CS. So far images print great as well as small type.
The problem is with placed EPS files. The printout gives all vector "curves" flat edges. Each line between "points" in the Illustrator EPS file renders as straight lines.
I have tried printing from Illustrator, Acroba as well..same result. I have also tried to set up using the GIMP-PRINT driver. Other workarounds have been trying to use firewire rather than USB. No change..
My wife uses the same printer at her office, with teh same type of artwork from Indesign as well an dteh output is fabulous.
Any Ideas?

It's not a postscript printer, so it doesn't print postscript correctly, i.e. vector.

At least, that's what I think may be the issue.

Have you tried flattening your vector files and outline strokes?

I have tried a multitude of differnt things.
Epson say sits not postscript (of course) however this does not explain the GREAT difference in quality between the same printers
I previously used a RIP on os9.. its strikes me as odd that inkjets are not made to work with adobe postscript software.. its not 1997...
