Kero: Exchange the Magenta for Pantone 806 [Flourescent Pink]. Tell the printer to let the Black ink dry over night before overprinting the Flouro.
Best.

Mrs. Build works for Sony as an artist making video-games. She was lead artist on the Wipeout [1/2/3] series, that's how we met [she came over to see us at tDR]. She is very talented.

Our lass is learning she keeps trying to guess fonts on TV ads and stuff, she bought me this without me even telling her...

Hi Michael...
Guess those long working hours are filled with lots of coffee and red bull? Respect how you handle it.I guess companies are getting smarter to see where the quality is at.

I think michael is one of the happy few who has a partner who understands his conditions and attitude in the design industry. Sometimes long working hours, stress and short deadlines...
- rabattski0
well very simply because she works in sort of the same industry so she knows what it's like.

It definately helps to have a symaphetic partner, although Nicky says i live in a different timezone to her sometimes...'is that Michael time? or 'normal' time. In 'Michael time, 5 minutes = ! hour 'real time', sound familiar?

- rabattski0
yep. sounds very familiair.

another thing, i assume sometimes your head's not in production mode, you know an off day. how do you work w/ that (w/ quite a lot of deadlines)?

from my experience:
working around the arts is immersive, solitary and extremely pushy for family life.
it helps having someone on the same wave-length
it doesn't help if you do not do some optimization to your time and still be able to be there for other people. They go away if you don't.

Depends on the deadline/client [sometimes some peoples deadlines are a little more flexible than others], i was off recently with a cold and people were very 'accomodating' with their deadlines [some not, you know who you are]. I hate forcing design so if i'm having an 'off' day i'll go out and just relax...
