Right, he's a bona fide abruzzese recipe for yers.
It's called "cinque p" cuz it's got 5 ingredients in it and they all begin with p.
You need some Penne pasta (p number 1), single cream (panna - p number 2), fresh parsley (Prezzemoli), pureed tomatoes (pomodori) and parmesan, grated of course. You'll also need some peperoncino to spice it up which actualy makes it "sei p" but whose counting.
Cook yer pasta in salted boiling water, al dente, I always add a dash of olive oil to the water, opinions are split on this but I can tell the difference.
While this is going on hack yer prezzemoli up and heat up yer tomato puree in a small pan with the single cream. Stir it and let it heat up for 5 minutes or so. Then add yer prezzemoli and grated parmesan and yer peperoncini and simmer. No salt. Yer parmesan takes care of that see?
Drain the cooked pasta (always leaving a bit of water in), put back in the pan and mix in yer tomato cream stuff.
Serve and enjoy.
Piece of piss and it's ace.

some of you must have had Indian-Chinese before. Quite tasty. Like the border region style in Indo-Chino land.
