The images are .pngs and they get really really pixelated when I tween them.
Any Ideas?
I tried psd, and tiff but nothing seems to keep it smooth.I've seen stuff like this all the time... how can I get it smooth?
thanks
Josh.

put the images at -1, -1, upper left quadrant inside their movieclips

Are you resizing them within Flash (after importing them to the library)? I find this makes 'em nasty. If so, try resizing them and even rotating them to the angle you want in photoshop first - that way all you need to do is tween in Flash. Does that help?

I am not resizing them, I saved them at the angle when they are not tweened and it looks fairly smooth... I wan't them to keep their smoothness as you click them.

do this trick, comp out the final position and save the images on PNG. And then tween it for your home position. If you need to make the image bigger or smaller, don't scale up the image, it's better if you scale them down. Hope that helps. I did similar stuff for this project:
