Hey, I'm going to Prague tomorrow. Has anyone got any tips on any decent bars or galleries to visit.

I've been and in all honesty I was too battered to remember much save that I had a wicked time. A few dos and don'ts:
1. If in Wenslessces (sic) Square, avoid the gypsy whores, they'll come up nd start being nice whilst the steal yer wallet. Not done to me but you see it done a lot.
2. Go across THE bridge; forget what tis' called.
3. Drink copious amounts of Absinth - a nice evil.
4. Watch out for the cabs - they'll rip yyou off at every given opertunity. AS yer hotel how much it should be from a to b and agree price with driver at the start.
5. Go see The Astronomical Clock and climb the adjoining tower; wonderful views.

and let me add, climb to charle's bridge's tower (that's the name of THE bridge ;)) and look to the skyline of the city. i think it's called "the city of the 1000 towers", and you'll see why.
then, turn around and look towards the castle. now that's a great photo you get there, mate!

Cheers dudes. I thought it was best to go soon before it turns into one big hen party. I'm also going to Bratislava and Budapset.

I used to have some adresses scribbled on backsides of beercards. I'll look them up for you.
But anyway, leave the 'old' town at night and visit 'new' Prague for trendy bars and clubs.

As cliched as it is you have to do at lest one strip club. i went to so many I forget the names of the good ones... Also watch what you take with you - they ask for your camera on entry,. Argue the case and you can get away with handing them the battery. I have two batteries - hence the below sneaky snaps:

there were some pretty good threads on this, but not sure if they exist anymore

I went there last year, great city. I say, head for the Jewish quarter for a few little bars, eateries and fewer drunken english fuckwits - I speak as an english man.
Go up to the big park on the hill side and stand under the massive metronome (spell?)
I've got some photos online:

i was there in '98 but these should still be around.
RadostFX - great club/bar owned by american ex-pats, with nice vegetarian restaurant ajoining.

prague its quite small - you dont need much advices as you just can miss the things - everything is in the old and new town - you can just walk through the city
in terms of clubs - check radost fx, roxy, akropolis, mecca
i live there - if you are looking for something specific just ask me.
- dgu0
ouch - wanted to say you just can't miss the things

the mucha museum is pretty cool. when walking at night keep your hands in your pockets, cause if not someone elses hand will be in there taking your shit.
