Can anyone give me a translation in French for the term "Test Print"
I have a feeling that "Printemps une teste" isn't correct :P
- snuggles0
how about 'imprimer essayer' does that make sense?
- fred0
For what I know, "a test print" can be translated as "une épreuve".
- fred0
snuggles, "imprimer essayer" isn't correct at all.
- snuggles0
haha, thx Fred, it's those stupid online tranlators, I knew nothing i'd get there would be correct, thus the post here. Thanks again man!

Copie D'Essai
- Jaline0
copie d'essai
essai de copie
impression de l'essai
examinez l'impression
There are various ways you can say it, depending on the context.
- snuggles0
The context would be:
"I wasn't sure how the colours would sit so I ran a few test prints."
- version30
Je n'étais pas sûr comment les couleurs se reposeraient ainsi j'ai tiré quelques copies d'essai.
- fred0
Then again, in the print industry the correct word for that is "une épreuve".

épreuve

Jaline is a copycat ;)
- Jaline0
I would say:
une copie épreuve
- snuggles0
So then I could use either
"une épreuve"
"copies d'essai"as stand-alone headings?
- version30
those will communicate properly, yes
- Jaline0
sure,
but don't blame us if you get made fun of.
everything and everyone around me is bilingual, unfortunately I've never come across 'test print'.
good luck!
