this mornng i asked if anyone could tell me super powers see the SUPER POWERS thread.
a couple of minutes ago e-pill suggested
"come up with 50 mini sketches of each thumbnail idea...the nanarrow it down to the most sensational, the most powerful, the worst, the best, the incredible, the fantastic, the amazing, the cunning, the original, the most creative...aand so on."
It wasn't really a challenge but i am bored and have decided to see if i can have a go and do 50 or so images in 10mins...
eveyone is welcome to join in.

Ok so i took ten minutes, timed myself and everything, worked to The Last Emperor - Secret Wars II, (which weirdly lasts for 10.07 mins, spooky)
Anyway......
..... Man did i fail, only managed 9 yep thats 41 away from my target.
*hangs his head in shame.
p.s It took longer to post the image cos i work on a different computer and had to transfer , but i promise i only spent 10.07 mins)

not really... to me the hand-drawn ones are far better. they have that human feeling in it. That humen error. I really like hand-drawn sketches. Am pondering over getting meself a sketchbook and draw a bit. haven't done it since graduating from artschool last year.

you are talented brokenshoe!!

I don't know sajets, i used to really hate vector images, in fact i did my dissertation on why they were rubbish, but i totally changed my opinion whilst doing it. I do tend to prefer hand drawn imagery, but vector has its place.
definately Go get a sketchbook i can't live without one...but whatever you do don't get pretentios i folks who tear pages out cos they are not as good as the rest. I love looking through sketchbooks, good and crap, makes people seem human

Hahaha, Yeah i hear you, was that volutary or forced life drawing? I used to loath sitting still for 6 hours drawing some old man. Now that i don't do it any more, i kinda miss life drawing, sounds rubbish but i reckon it really improves you illustration. even if you tend to draw completely atatomically incorrectly, like me.

great characters man! so nice!

spelling mistakes? i am a dyslexic so i don't really notice them. Spell badly all you like i does.... heh heh heh... sorry
- sajets0
i was pretty good drawer... but it usually turned into drawing mess as me and elms (who posts here) started messing with each others drawings.. and at the end of class that sad person whos eraser i borrowed after each class went home with raped eraser.. most of it was wasted om my or elms's paper :D
But i hope i rememeber tomorrow to pick one sketchbook and pencil and at lunch i'll start... i hope :)
