perhaps there is a consumer reports forum you could go to for a critique

why?
- version30
ok
why beg for work?
take off please.
why a back button?
just make it appear to the right of the menui saw this site the other day.
dont you have contemporary art defined as fine art?
the long string of images is kind of redundant and easy to lose your place
build a flipbook gallery or something

i'm not sure of your direction with the website, immediately i was thinking www.mmparis.com styles. but here's my 2c
the site itself lacks design. images are just wacked one under the other.
functionally it doesn't work well with having a menu that i have to keep pressing a back button to go back to view work (in this day and age you can make things a whole lot easier for viewers by having the nav constant on each page). then on top of that very long scrolls.
if you address that then i think you're in the right direction. hope that helps

i agree with most of what's already been said. i feel that you want it very simple, but it's gotten away from you a bit.
trust me i'm a BIG fan of simple (look at my site if you don't believe me :-) But if you are doing it simple, everything must be perfect from a formatting and consistency perspective.
also make it simply to use. watching people that are unfamiliar with your work browse your site is an amazing learning experience. everyone should do this.
cheers..

*hugs version3 and remembers that its a doggy dog world out their and wes' gota' stick togeter' :D
- version30
its actually "dog eat dog" world
but laughter is the glue that binds humanity
unless I am inside too much and snoop has taken over completely and it is a doggy dog world
:D

actually i think that some of snoops lyrics include "it's a doggy dog world" but in context i think dog eat dog is right. but this isn't english class so i don't know why i care.

the gallery suggestions and eliminating the back button
small issues, you have content
just needs a lil better organization
