there is a program out there for os x that will help clean up and/or fix fonts thereby speeding up the startup time... right now, I'm waiting like 5 minutes at startup...
anyone remember the name (link?)

why dont you just move some into an unused suitcase?
- ivan_cook0
use your suitcase and just deactivate the ones your not using.
:-)
when are we gonna get that beer?

I recall some program out there that would search for damaged fonts...duplicates...ect... and clean that sh*t up.
it wasn't a font manager program...i'll admit I'm being a bit lazy, using font agent pro right now...too many fonts

oh yeah and as for the drink...
it looks like my housemate is having a cocktail party on thursday, I'll pass along the invite, I think me and my new lady friend will be there for a bit and then head out for a late dinner.

you could try this:

but i think turning off the unused one will be the best bet.

i don't think that is the same one i was thinking, but basically the type of program I am looking for, I will give it a shot...
and then turn off all those fonts..
