too much unnecessary flak.
not really humourous.

I get the second one but not the first.

thanks for your thoughts. would appreciate any others too.
they aren't really meant to be funny in a haha sense. rather its about the twist.
i appreciate the first one is harder to understand. helps if you try and imagine it .

The second one clearly demonstrates the connection to a toupe company. And does it amusingly, too.
I'm struggling to see the connection in the first one...
What abot another approach:
like the wedding photographer takes all these amazing close-up pictures of the bride and groom in love, then it cuts to the bride sharing her wedding album with her girlfriends and we see in the picture that his hair really blows....
Something along the same lines that in the reveal, he's got bad hair, but no one steps up to the plate to tell him about it, including his bride?Dunno....but the second one could be pretty humorous.

thankyou for your thoughts. really appreciate it cville.
the concept in the first ad - is that the guys hair in the first ad is so bad (and he knows it) he doesnt want to any photos to be taken of him. so hes BEHIND the camera.
we only discover at the end that he is actually the groom. not who youd expect to be going around taking pics!
it ends with the inevitable. standing at the alter. he's got to standing facing away from us. and people are going to clearly see the back of his head and the state of his hair!

hey you turned Rajeev into jeeves. Smart

all my friends call me jeeves!
they usually have to gte the whole 'ask jeeves' things out of their system first though

Ahhh....got'cha.
Then that would make the first one work pretty well.
I like the idea that toupe customers have to worry about the slightest wind currents. Could make for a fun series of spots.
Guy on a golf course, squirrel sneezes;
Fella in a quiet library hitting on a cute little co-ed, old librarian lady farts;
Dude getting his eyes checked at the Doc and he uses that stupid air-puff machine that makes you blink, Doc looks up mortified at the guys hair.....Etc, etc...
(Can you tell the boss is out of the office today...)
:)

im not sure if the first ones 'too deep' or something.
so far, i've had to really spell it out to the 3/4 people that have looked at it so far... which can't be good.
lol -
yeh - those ideas would be hilarious! i can imagine them as i read them :)

guy in queue waiting to in shop. people behind staring at wig. guy gets to the checkout and the cashier says "its your turn toupee"
but in fairness you probably dont want to poke fun at it too much, i'm sure baldies are sensitive enough.
