it's good when you need to look away from your work for a second, so your brain doesn't explode.
some days i have more time to look away than others. some days i need to look away more than others. but i'm glad it's here reguardless. there are a lot people around to learn from whether it's good things or bad things you can take away from the situation that help you grow.

as far as reasons why people are obsessed with this place..
i think that once you feel like you're part of the community, and you start participating actively, then you're left with no choice but to keep up with your threads and responses... its far less time consuming to just lurk.. but also not nearly as much fun

I've been writing again. I've got 60 pages so far!!
And, designing a lot as well. I stopped listening to people when they kept telling me how much cooler/better they are than me and my work has gotten so much better. Learning is rad

shant has a huge 4 color press in his livingroom instead of a dinner table.
thats hot.
i tried making my own screens, but it's really hard with ghettoed up equipment. nothing came out really sharp. :(
