anyone know of any freeware font browsers that will let you view fonts in forlders on a CD for example.

No, but that sounds way handy.

dosn't any font viewer do that? you select dir to view from just set another dir in bookmarked paths everytime u put in cd select that path.

I had a great program before I formated, it let you view all files installed and not installed on your computer, from a cd or over a newtwork, it would show you a list of all of them and you could type in sample text and even install the font from the program.
just cant damn remmeber the name
