the last far show was at a non profit volunteer run venue i used to work at in high school. It was out of control. So amazingly tight. Joanah was like upside down walking on the cieling pretty much. there was less than 100 people there in the tiniest room ever. the sound was amazing. you would have loved it. i'll try to find some pictures.

i think the best thing about the beck show was that there was no children there bopping around ruining the experience. It was all 20-30 somethings with jobs and common sense not to act-a-fool in public. i started to hate going to shows for that very reason. something that dancy could easily get out of control with the wrong crowd. but thats why theyre "secret".

Hey, how do you get in on the secret Beck show loop? I keep seeing all these places out here the day after they happen. Do you just have to hit up the Echo or Club 1650 everynight or what?

"right up there with seeing drowningman and dillenger escape plan in one show... and seeing dismemberment plan in at a venue with only 15 people in santa barbara."
you are hot.

he played at this place i've never been before. it was off of sunset and schrader (sp). it's kinda close to steward and highland. it was a nice smallish venue. i missed the opening band which was supposed to be really good. but beck was fantastic. probably one of the best shows ive seen. right up there with seeing drowningman and dillenger escape plan in one show... and seeing dismemberment plan in at a venue with only 15 people in santa barbara.

damn, missed it. where did he play?

go the beck show last night. I had a weird thought while i was watching kids leave at the end of the night... I wonder if any LA NTers walked right past and i didn't notice. At a show like that it seems likely. it's a small world.
