i have to redesign a little companys CI. they asked me if i could choose some colors for their communication.
i never done that before, creating a color code. how do you do that? just pick some and fine? or read abot color psychology?

There's lots of colour theory stuff, horses for courses i say. I think you can work out what's nice and appropriate and what isn't
