  my 1 yr old 3rd gen iPizzle started randomly doing this about 3 months ago. it's not connected to any particular track, just stops giving out sound 1/2 way through a song then skips on to the next when any button is played.

  i just see it as iPod punishing me for dropping it all those times.

  why Apple did you have to give iPod feelings???
