Contracts: Revisions on websites

    i looked and looked... but if anything it would be good for someone to link to it in this thread if it does exist in our database and i just didn't see it.

    Does anyone have a good clause in a contract about how many rounds of comps clients get, how many revisions they get... and what constitutes a change order. I'm trying to write something out but i cant seem to put it into good words.

    i think it's really important for everyone to write that into their contracts.

    I've always been pretty vague when it came to putting that in my contracts... but i've got to stop doing that.

    that's not so difficult. now the exact number of comps isn't something i would put default in a contract. that's something you work out with the client first and then mention it later in the actual contract with that client. extra comps are charged per hour. revisions and changes are charged per hour. any change = a change. a redesign is considered as doing a new site. now all that can ofcourse be negotiated / be flexible.
