Hi all, I scored the redesign for a Theatre Festival and I was hoping to get some suggestions for some contemporary / classic serif fonts I may not have come across yet.
I'm looking for something unique here, maybe along the lines of 'pan' by Dalton maag'

I'm in love with this one...

very close to rosewood fill.

true...
except rosewood is a little more conpressed...this one is a bit mre versatile...

to be honest, it's too close to rosewood to be called a "different" font at all. i'd take rosewood regular and fill instead and use little to no spacing to get that same look. totally not practical as a serif font either btw.

I am a big fan of vendetta - use it sparingly

I think you would like the Adobe font Trajan..

Thanks eveyone, I'm particularty intersted in Mrs Eaves, the ligatures would be really handy. Unfortunately it doesn't work is OSX, if anyone here has it would you have any objectin to writing a few words for me and outlining them and mailing them to me? I'm looking for "Dublin Theatre Festival", with the 'st' ligature in Festival
Thanks a bunch!

hahaha, sorry, this comment is slightly offtopic, but i got a logo from a client and i have to use the same font but i needed to figure out which one it is. When i clicked on your Dalton Maag font it appeared to be exactly the one i was looking for.
thx!!!!
(this is also proving that that particular font is not THAT unique eh?)
;)

Mrs. Eaves works just fine on OSX.
