Redesigned:
Just looking for some general/design related feedback. Many thanks.

very nice...
i'd say the only thing it is missing is a set of previous / next buttons so the user doesn't need to return to the thumbnails to select a new photo every time...
maybe a 1px border on the thumbnails for photos that have been visited?

what they said. nice work!
id like to see some cursor change over links though...not sure if that's just a safari thing or what. it's nice to know youre hovering over a link.

do you shoot medium format? are all your photos square? I'm asking because the way you've laid out your site works well for landscape or panoramic shots too (horizontal layout). I liked the last two pics in the bunch because of that, but they were too small. If they were just as tall as the others, the site in general would look better, imo.
Your photos are great! I just wish they filled out the screen a little more.

nice. working on the next/previous buttons, and the viewed images.
dippy: i predominantly shoot medium format. but i'll enlarge those latter shots to match the size of my square shots. good point.
btw, do you think the images could be larger (currently 400 x 400)?

btw, can anyone flip me css/code tips on how to put a border on the INSIDE of a visited image? killing me...

nice to see a few shots (places) I recognize.
good stuff. Like everyone has already said, make the pictures bigger, and forward -backward buttons. and your set.
- instantok0
do you mean a border that overlaps the image? i'm not sure if that is possible without creating a new layer and messing about with javascript...

also, it is common practice to NOT include a photo of yoursel fon your site.
example: if you hand someone a resumem with your picture or anything, or they see your picture on your site when you apply for a job, they have to throw you away because that is basis for discrimination from the way you look. learned that this year in school.
something to think about.

Yes! Much better. You've been busy. ;)
Minor quibble: The menu on the left and the content box on the right don't go together very well. Maybe if you aligned the top of the menu with the top of the light gray box?
