does anyone know any good/simple barcode apps that will produce an EPS (or whatever) if i have the UPC (i think thas what it is) info??
Any help is appreciated

Barcodes are crazy liitle puppies. Ready...
There are two ways to proceed depending on your final usage:
1. Use a font-based barcode. Just key in the numbers and out pos your barcode. This is good for Postal barcodes and non-commercial codes.
2. A barcode generator app. This is more helpful for product type barcodes UPC-A, or promotion barcodes (ie. coupons) EAN-128. These create the needed check digits (found on the left and right) that a font-based barcode cannot create.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.0 has one of the functions that allow you to generate BarCode.. however.. that program costs a lot because it's a part of Adobe Enterprise Software...

the wasp barcode fonts allow you to produce upc commercial codes without problem

i am looking to produce barcodes for shampoo bottles that we are producing. The client gave us the UPC number for each and we have to produce the logo.
if you have any insight on this, it would be awesome!
