book design help

  i am an editorial designer working on a spread for my portfolio... i've come up with this concept that i want to follow through on that will be influenced by book design.

  i've taken a look at several of the mcsweeneys... i definitely want to go that route but was wondering if anyone else could recommend someone else to look to for inspiration.
