It's even worse when someone has had the same idea, but executed it a lot better than you have.
Or when their idea has been accepted and published and yours is sitting on your hardrive in your 'rejected concepts' folder.

Mr_snuggles I had that experience not so long ago. I came up with an idea at Art college, I loved it, my tutor said what the fuck are you on... I then ditched it (that was 5-6 years ago). Low and behold about 2 months ago Sagmiester did the samething, execution was "slighty" better, but I was pissed off because if I bought it up in conversation people now go "YEAH RIIIIGHT"
