I did a search and got no results. Are there any web design magazines worth their salt. A friend of mind's girl wants to get him a web design magazine. I think it's pointless because any web magazine should be online. Are their any good online web design magazines? Possibly an online subscription? See Christmas is crazy.

ComputerArts.

New Web Pick is absolute SHIT, I'm pissed at you for linking it. They regularly award template sites, rips of 2advanced and other utter crap. Basically anyone that submits wins.

you are right, but the NWP interactive e-zine in .exe is qite nice

Okay, let's not start fighting...
My buddy is a bit more on the technical side than design side.
However Computer Arts may work. Sometimes Computer Arts gets cheesey with 3D stuff though.

If he's into development and shit, get him 2600. I always read that from first page to last.

I thought 2600 was a hacking mag? He's that guy who's in between a developer and a designer, so I'll recommend Computer Arts. Plus it's from his girlfriend so if he doesn't like it, tough.

STB, well I love 2600 because it combines programming/scripting and tricks with the Creative nature of the people that discover exploits and such. I dunno. maybe he's not into fun stuff like tricking systems and people, but I love that stuff. It's geared to a wide range of skill levels too, so just about anyone interested in computers can find something they like in it.

I'll have to check it out. I just assumed the little black and whiter with it's hacker subline meant it was just for total hacker geeks.
The Computer Art Projects kinda looks cool from the web site. I onder if they are any good. I'll have to run up to the bookstore tomorrow.

At Barnes & Noble a few days ago, I saw a big, green colored magazine called Dreamweaver.
