Are US comp slips a third of US letter size? Also are US business cards a standard size, and if so what is it?
Many thanks

standard US business cards are 3.5"x2".
not sure what you mean by "US comp slips".

Thanks. Compliment slips in the UK are usually 210mm x 99mm (so that you get three of them to an A4 sheet - for cheap printing). As the US uses letter, instead of A4 paper, I was wondering if they have a standard compliment slip size - perhaps a third of the height of a sheet of letter size paper?
I work for a UK company that has just opened a US subsidiary and they want us to provide them with artwork for their stationary.

right, got it. a typical size for stationary, invites, etc. is 8.5"x5.5" (two per 8-1/2"x11" sheet).
while i'm sure this can vary depending upon the application, that is the dimension i usually use.

thanks again!
Do US companys not use comp slips then? It's basically like a one third height printed letterhead, with the logotype and contact details and a printed message saying 'with compliments'. You then scribble on them by hand and put them in the post when you're sending someone something. Useful!

i'm not familiar with comp slips, but you're right, it does sound like a useful idea.
perhaps someone else on here from the US has used them and can give you some specs.
