The gig was good, but I got the feeling that the guys weren't best of friends anymore. None of them talked to each other, or even seemed to acknowledge each other even. Nothing was said to the audience, and they just played their stuff (pretty much note for note). I don't know if this is normal behavior for them, but the only one who looked like they were really into it was the drummer. The bassist kept his hood up the whole time, and Dave Pajo just looked intensely at his guitar the whole time.

Stuff from Spiderland was as fantastic as I'd hoped, and 'Good Morning Captain' blew me away...

    5ub...

trip "Good Morning Capt." was definitely the highlight for me, but oddly, Brian missed a cue and spaced out on a verse. Then he relented and joined the audience for a good laugh.

It was a great tension breaker and made it a better overall experience.

But I'm with you, If I want to hear perfect, I have the albums.

There was some interaction at our show with the audience....a fan yelled out "play some new stuff" to which Brian replied "we don't have any new stuff" then quipped "if you want new stuff, there are plenty other bands playing in the city right now" to which the fan replied "no thanks"

Overall they did seem like they were taking the whole thing way too seriously.
