Is it possible to do (plugin, something). To open a Quark 6 doc in InDesign CS?
- RIZ0
yes, there is actually a quark-convertor tool in Indesign CS which will do it. I think you just have to try opening the file, and it will give you the option to convert it.

That doesn't work w/ 6 and CS.. i just tried again. All Quark6 docs are greyed out, and if yoo force it still can't open

According to adobe:
file:///Applications/Adobe%20InD...
You have to save as Quark 4. That sux though cos Quark 6 can pnly save as far as 5, then you have to open in 5 and save to 4. b.s.
any way around this?

save the page as an eps and try it that way. it should retain your font information in illy.
bring it in from there.
it's war between quark and everyone else...they're hangin on for dear life...........and only by their fingertips.
