and if this has been posted before, shoot me. go to your setting link, and activate POP3, there are instructions on how to configure your mail program as well.

Boba, same here, says it times out when connecting to the pop.gmail.com server...

I've got it to automatically send to my blackberry which is good... when I downloaded the gmail notifier a while back I had to completely reinstall my machine... dunno if it was that ro not... but this is much better for keeping up to date with me gmail julie

Mmmm. You can get any POP3 email account to work on a standard mobile phone.
I've been doing this long before the blackberry touted it...
