ok, anyone been having this problem in Safari where you are having to click a link 2 even three times to get it to load? Sometimes I have to click refresh a couple times before a site shows up. This is especially frustrating when it is hard to tell if a site is simply "down" or if it is just safari.

YES! drives me freakin insane, especially when browsing through a crowded thread here on NT and I just click "next". It fails on every other click.

same here. Usually refreshing it once helps. Really iritating.

YEP! everyone at work thinks i'm crazy cuz their's is fine. but i get long delays and sometimes the little balloon for mouseovers links goes just wiggy on me. its pissing me off. i'd go exlcusive firefox but i have some sort of hang up over the osx interface of safari.

I'm glad it isn't just me...
I'm getting tired of it, so when is the next update going to happen that will fix this?
I like safari, but my bloodpresssure goes up when I visit Newstoday because of this.

I thought it was a beta? Come on, he won't notice, this column has 10 million visitors, tops :) What are the chances?
seriously though, me thought it was free?

I find that if I leave the mouse on the link after clicking it won't load, but when I move off the link it loads.
Cooky...

Its a bug...
new Panther Update suposedly fixes it. If not- flush the CACHE and HISTORY and delete the prefernces in your user library folder and restart the app.

just got Firefox 1.0 thinking I would be in browser heaven and the goddamn thing is exhibiting the same symptoms as Safari....I have to click or refresh at least twice on most links for the page to load. AHHH!!
I am starting to think this may be some kind of OS preference thing???

Safari blows big time - I just moved up to Firefox - F*ckin beautiful. I highly recommend it - For example, I have to refresh at least 2 times when loading my gmail account w/ Safari - with Firefox 1.0 its like BOOM instant access. The choice is sooooo damn clear :)

how does firefox handle css & bank sites?
- designerror0
peeuhh, glade i'm not alone anymore..
but i get it regardless of browser on 10.3.6 .. fucking fix it before i move to linux Steve!

I havent had a problem with safari since the 10.3.5 update.
I think Firefox for OSX blows, but I haven't tried 1.0.
I like Camino but I find it really distracting that the icon is smaller than all the other icons when sitting in the dock.
