Just saw this movie tonight..
hmmm.. more than a disappointment.. the original Korean movie was pretty good..

yeh saw it last night, a few jumpy bits, shite american character development, but some nice touches. 5.5/10

yeah I went to see it with josimarX and me and him pure shat it like mind you I am a total pussy when it comes to scarey movies christ I get brown trousers when I watch diagnosis murder or some shit.

It's based in Tokyo.. but for some reason I thought it was a korean movie.. It certainly has the same sorta style..
And yes there were a few scary bits.... the ghosts were pretty good.. but the film never really gripped you at all.. there wasn't any surprises in the story and nothing was left to the imagination.. all spelled out for you..

acutally.. the titles said it was directed by Sam Raimi.. so dunno where you guys are getting that Takashi Shimizu directed it.. cos I don't think it wasn't mentioned in the titles I saw last night.. hmmm..

maybe you're right.. I must have mis-read it.. I was sure it said directed by Sam Raimi.. maybe it was produced by or something.. anyways.. shite movie :P
