Thinking of getting the 12-24mm sigma lens to use with a Fuji s2 digital SLR.
Does anyone have any feedback on this unit?

normally i would say, always stick to brandname lenses, i know that sigma has made some progress over the last 15 or so years that i have seen those lenses around. a 12-24? how muchy? sounds sweeet anyway... nothing else really out there on the market in that range... please post a link.
i have a 20-35 for my canon 300D which is about a 28-40... wide is nice... funny i shoot 50 80% of the time.
does fuji make lenses for there digi slr's?
i have the canon 300D and will be getting the canon 1D-s, and one day the hassleblad H1 to go with my 500cm...

It goes for close to $1k CDN
The fuji s2pro SLR is a Nikon f mount, so I have been able to cross over my old gear. Unfortunatly the 1.5x opt. multiplication means I have to get some wider lenses.

Im considering going the third-party road for lenses as well. I need a sub 2000$ Tele.
also.. When will they make fully digital Medium formats!? (not backs)

wait no longer
Hasselblad has the H1D 22 Mpixels, sensor is 37x49mm
I have also been looking more and more at 3rd party lenses since I tryed out a Tamron 90mm. Takes great portraits and wicked DOF in the macros.
