ah yes... the old BMW 2002, i love the style of that car.
i'm pretty sure they're relatively inexpensive to but used... not sure about parts and such tho.
i'm sure jox could prolly shed more light on the subject.
calling dr. jox....

You're '02 (as we Bimmer lovers call 'em) is one of the best cars ever. I nearly bought one myself, but opted for the slightly newer 1982 320i.
If you can find yourself a "ti" or the monster 2002 tii model, you'll be in love. The tii had the earliest version of fuel injection that BMW offered in a US car.
All in all, the M10 engine (which is a 1.8litre 4 cyl) is a great engine. I still have my 320i (runs the same engine) and it runs like a champ. I burns some oil and the compression isnt the greatest, but as long as I top the oil up its okay.
Good cars though, GREAT cars!

:^)

His name's Carlos, he's a rad guy and he hangs out on Newstoday all the time.
He's got this retarded screen name though...
'Gilt001'.

Yo Carlos!
When I drive across the country in my 02 to move to Seattle and my car breaks down I'll look you up!
wOOt!
- Gilt0010
Sounds good salisae!!
They aren't hard cars to work on. Parts on THAT expensive either. It's not like there's a bunch of insane crap shoved under the hood like new cars.
They run great! Of course, my 320i only has 150K miles on it. Not back for a 22 year old car.

a couple of friends drive these and in that colour too. one is a ti the other has a t-top.
the ti spends a lot of time in the shop. but there seems to be a good support network getting hold of parts
