Why is it so difficult to design your own logo? I've found that no matter what I come up with, I am never satisfied. I feel like if I choose one, than I am tied to it for eternity. The logo I am using now, was designed 12 years ago, and I've never changed it. It's not good, but I still can't bring myself to change it. (www.flickdesign.com) I don't do web work, (as shown by mine listed above) and have put off redesigning my website until I redesign my logo.
Maybe there should be a place where you can go and just put your name on a list and everyone takes a shot at designing your logo... but, then I guess that doesn't really help you decide.
I hate Mondays.

whatever you do, don't make a logo for yourself...

dude, you could do tons of stuff with your name. Drop the logo on your site and start fresh.
Think of things you can flick, ie: light switches, ears, etc.
make it smart.
maybe a small icon with straight forward type. No drop shadows or outlines... it's all about class.

i like the light switch idea!
good un, ric!

or how about associating it with a piece of film, ie: Flick.

don't spend more than 15 minutes on it....
but change it every week.

is there a "d" somewhere in that circle?
not getting it.

It looks like too much time has been spent on something so simple.
brainstorm, follow a specific idea.
The associations with your name are endless.
