Illustrator HELP

    Well this is a weird thing. My girlfriend as version 10.0.3 runing in Windows XP home German version (Illustrator is the English version). the problem is with the fonts. The default font is Myriad as we all know, but then everytime she try to use another font, like Arial or Helvitica, Illustrator automaticlly changes to cyrillic fonts and doesn't let you change it for the normal Arial. Then also dont let you use the german special caracheters places only this Russian ones...

    Does anybody ever had same kind of problem and how did you solve it!

    I already search in the Adobe online help, but they dont talk about nothing related with this!!
