Flash Font Family

I'm working on a project that uses several different types of a particular Font Family. In Photoshop, and most other graphics programs, i can select the font family and which ever font style i might want to use.
In flash however, I only have one option it seems. only the regular style of the font shows up, and i believe that the italics and bold are faked by flash, not even using the real outlines of the bold and italics font.
The font in question is DIN.
I know people have had this problem before, but i wonder if anybody has an answer.
I notice on some other fonts on my machine, all styles are visible in the Flash font selector. WTF?
any help?

using the library create a new font symbol, name it, check the italic and bold boxes.
Now, you should see your symbol's name appear in the font list in the properties box, when applying a typeface to a textfield.

In this case, I need more than Bold and Italic, i also need Din-Black.
Further confounding the problem, i was working on this file on a Mac, where all styles of the said font were visible. Now I'm on a PC, and only the Family name appears in the selector box.
ugh...
Know of anyway i can edit the font properties so that each individual style will show up in the font selector, like most fonts do?

no clues?

well Din-Black should be considered another font, therefore you should create another symbol for it.
Flash does have some issues listing post script fonts. If that's the case try finding a true type version of it.
