I'm not too into the typeface used in the navigation and the section titles, but that's just a personal thing. Not a font for my tastes.
I think the empty boxes with the x's makes the left side look pretty busy. I don't think that area would look bad if it just contain links to the projects, photos, etc.
The overall shape is very close to, but not quite, a golden rectangle. I'd suggest making the main area about 25 pixels wider.
Hope this helps.

ok, it looks like it belongs in 1994 for one, fonts are bad IMO, color scheme not so hot either. OK you asked.... good luck :)

i'm no top designer, but i stay aware of top design.
the typeface needs to change. also, nav mouseovers are too microscopic for my taste

its not fair to yourself to make thumbnails for links in the "respect" section larger than those of your own work, if this site is to market yourself as a designer then don't link to other designers but rather push your own skills...
i would put your email link with your resume and make something different for your home page, rather than the resume i mean, maybe the services page...also, i don't think it is appropriate to link to your references' email addresses directly, just say they are available
maybe add the photos to your portfolio and just label them as such, the "gallery" term had me confused at first...if the photos are not important enough to include in your folio i would nix them all together...add some padding to the description text and try mixing some bold or italic type to set off the headers
also, i am exactly 2 days older than you :)
