I have received a file that is a Quark xpress Passport. It won't let me open it in my regular Quark or is it even possible to do so? Can a quark passport file ever be opened in regular quark....or what the hell is going on here.
I don't use quark much so any help would be great.
Thanks.

wierd.
I just got Quark Passport to put together a zine. I have Quark 6 at work. I'll see what's up.
We're supposed to take the zine to press Tuesday. I hope Passport is ok. You can backwards save to Quark 5. I'm thinking that's what we're going to have to do.

the file you've gotten has ot be save in Quark Passport as "Single language" for it to be compatible with the non-Passport Quark. if you can't get the person to re-save the file then you're screwed unless someone else with a Passport vers can hepl you out.
PS- Quark sucks I hate that more than my job!!

Yeah, I got an error window saying document "can only be opened in Quark Passport" ?
The job went away and I don't have to worry about it now. Maybe it was just that file....I don't know.
