For all you logo lovers out there:
What is the logo that volkswagen had on their steering wheel for? Up until about '84 when the new golf was introduced. It looks like a fox or something.
Here's a pdf:

It IS a fox! But it didn't come on all models, it was an option package that included rev meter, chrome stripes on the bumpers and - i think - nicer interior.
Why, you in the market for one? :)

The GTI looks nice.. but..
"It get you from 0 to 60mph in a flash: 9 flying seconds"
WOW.. thats so fast!! :p
My Morris Minor 1000 from 62´ gets me there in 13 flying seconds..

yes, i agree with jox.
it must be some kind of 'special-edition'.

for wolfsburg edition.
i could be wrong. just my guess.

I had a mark 1 golf back in the day. Good times.

That may have been a special edition usage... but it's a stylized version of the VW Wolfsburg logo .... which is based on the Wolfsburg town (home town of VW) coat of arms/logo or whatever you call it.
It's been used on lots of standard VW models over the years, so its sort of an alternative logo for the company... but now not used at all I think?

whatchu sighing about there?

bad hair day.

Dutchboy proved me, even.
