Cheers Dutchboy, I'll be looking for you, I'm sure it'll be effective to run through the streets of Holland screaming "Dutchboy, Dutchboy"
Think we'll meet friends that way?

good. Florence. The Duomo's definently on my list. Thanks

Hit the beach!! Barcelona!! Or go to Sicily. There are lots of beautiful small towns in the south (like Taormina). Amazing. Portugal is super cheap too. But if you go to the Netherlands, do Rotterdam AND Amsterdam because Amsterdam gets really boring and there are 10,000 drunk/stoned/tripping/horny(in a bad way)/obnoxious tourists everywhere you look. Rotterdam has incredible modern art and such cool people...

"My wife and I are in London for 2 days, then up to Nottingham for a day, then down to Paris for 2 days, then off to Amsterdam for 5 days, then Berlin and some other places in Germany and finally we have like 2 weeks in the south of France and Spain!! We leave next Friday and I'm pretty stoked. We wanted to go to Prague, but alas we only have a month!

Mr_Snuggles - sounds like a good venture.
I'm flying by the seat of my pants on this trip. Got to keep it cheap but still want to see as much as I can in a two week period. All I got is a BMX and a backpack, and I'm not afraid to sleep on the beach or in a park. Seems pretty cheap to make it to Italy and get around the country conveinently. I think I may go for that.
Bio - if I make it to Belgium, I'll hit you up.

Amsterdam is fairly cheap to get to from London. Definitly worth the trip.
Train ride from Paris to Amsterdam is beautiful. You get to see what the country side looks like as well as the cities and you can stop off anywhere along the way that you are interested in.

Barcelona is a must and the weather will still be great for the beach! Its the best place ever. Don't forget to check Superfuture.com for all the spots u know? Oh and go to Rotterdam. Its really close to London, has the most amazing museums, is an awesome city, and of course has the best smoke without being as seedy as Amsterdam.

If you want to see some european scenery I'd stay out of the big cities. South of Italy, French riviera, islands around Greece would be some of the places I'd bring a tourist from overseas. I guess it all comes down to what you want to do.
What Spix said, too but again - wrong time a year unless you like rain.

mm. probably so snuggles.
if i have a chance, i may cruise around and check out germany or france. not sure what all will go down yet.

I lived in Helsinki, FI for a while. Lovely and close to both the larger towns in Sweden, St. Pete's, Russia and Tallin, Estonia http://www.tallinn.ee/eng?sess_a…
quite cheap and full of lovely women!

a small town on the swedish west coast called Lysekil. Wonderful place...then just go north from there along the coast line. Wrong time of the year thought. Sorry.

If this is your first time to the EU. I would get out of London and take a Ferry across the sea to the Netherlands and then travel southwest into Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain and Portugal and do the same coming up but take a different route. It's excellent, althought never made it over to Portugal.
