Wow. I'm not pro-bush. We're not in Iraq.
You don't live in NYC, you don't work in NYC, your working schedule is not swayed.
Stop making incongruent comparisons.

jeez you know...i would give a sod if it was. because the more ruckus and fuss that is made - the better. I'm sorry you feel hard done by, but the cause is honourable.

how obstinate can one person be?
Come on your convienience vrs the betterment of your country.
take the week off
- twooh0
you should know what we're talking about. the discussion started rotating around friday/saturday's bikers disruption, not the week to come.
i said this before, i have no problem with this week because now i can work from home because permits allow for less disruption and for people like me who actually live and work in the city, unlike most of the protestors, to know ahead of time.
get it?
i'm only having a fit because i feel like certain people are here are trying to censor me with incongruent comparisons to the war on Iraq. the war on Iraq was not discussed, so why is it even being brought up?

Wait a minute. The betterment of my country? What do you know about the "betterment of" my country?
Forget that. That wasn't the topic on hand. Please please please stick to the issue here. I'm not arguing against the rally. I'm arguing about FRIDAY/SATURDAY'S event!!!!

probabally nothing, but giving Bush the bird is worth the hassel in my book
- twooh0
Right. I'm not pro-Bush. I was not for the war in Iraq necessarily, therefore this has nothing to do with my opinions.
I was just sick of protestors chanting in the subways on my way back home, blocking traffic on my night out and telling me i can't go across the street without a permit.
But hell, I'll support Bush being tried for war crimes. Just don't start annoying me and making my spiteful.
I need to work, eat and sleep too you know.

-1 for saying 'incongruent' twice
- twooh0
Hey. Good that's some educated thinking. You should write a book on how you talk so much without much basis or much reason.
Hey, but you're on the right track. I mean hey, talking about Iraq and relating it somehow together with friday's events totally made sense.
Excellent research! Seriously, I have to give you a lot of credit. That was brilliant!

you're an aggressive little bunny aren't you...

i'm just annoyed because no one sees only New Yorkers are seeing my point of view here.
hey, you guys want the freedom to express yourself, and i'm just doing that.
w0rd.

you have serious issues man
- twooh0
then i guess so do the millions of New Yorkers. but hey, I guess that's what makes New York, New York.
again, you don't live here. just like i don't live in your town.
if someone is going to prevent me from doing something in NYC, i'm going to be pissed.
instead of yelling at me, maybe you should be yelling at the Lobbyists.
it takes money or power to actually act on this situation as Robert Moses proves in NYC history.
i have the opinion of many other New Yorkers. if you think that's an "issue", then you're immediately excluding me from the usage of "everyone".

i like the cut of your jib man - you got balls...not enough people these days got balls

this is going on too long. i'd rather talk about some new kick ass site.

Look I've lived in London, Dublin, Manchester, NY (briefly) and Sydney, and frankly if someone wants to bring any town to a standstill for a good cause, then I don't think you should give a shit. Take the day off get to a roof, smoke a spliff and watch the chaos ensue.

i enjoyed the naked aids activists i saw on television the most so far.

lay off twooh
he's annoyed with critical mass, which first and foremost is an environmental rally - not an anti-bush rally.
let me go at him...
twooh, if you're so concerned with getting facts straight...well, i live in NYC and i was riding the other night. everytime a firetruck or ambulance needed to get anywhere the riders parted faster than any cabs could.
as for permission to ride in the streets...there was a police escort, so i'd say we had permission.
you really should think of riding next time. i promise you'll love it.

Again, so am I, and I dont care what's occuring this week, I said this three times, comon now!
I was talking about friday/saturday's illegal event that was disrupting traffic illegally and preventing people from going where they need to go illegally without a permit.
No more politics please! More Design!
