I am working on a site for a client and want to be able to scale a table 100% of the page thus am going to leave out a doctype.

Is this going to hurt anything, the page is mostly html with some css. So by removing the doctype in order to cheat the table height to 100% going to cause any problems?
thanks,
Dave

Yes, no doctype is OK.
But it has no bearing on how much a table scales.

Well, if you look at the page, see how the main table does not scale to 100%? When i do not declare a doctype then it does allow the table to scale to 100%. If i could figure out a way to make that table the whole page height and have a doctype I would be estatic.
