Ok then, but what does this mean " i would doubt over the McD gig tho,"
Does that just mean you personally are opposed to working with McD specifically or just corporations like them in general. I'm just curious of your bias?
- DutchBoy0
McD in specific, and some others..
i don't think you can call it bias... just personal perspective based on what i've learned so far.
i wouldn't reject it at once, but would seriously reconsider..yes.
on the other hand, McD will never step to me i think, so i have nothing to worry.
i have rejected some damn sweet gigs in the past for various solid reasons... not always ethical tho..
- mike_g0
Fair enough, I appreciate yer explanation and respect yer stance. :)
- DutchBoy0
which does not mean i disrespect others for doing that.... and when i do translate it to jealousy, haha!

*waves at chuck*
hi chuck!
- nopattern0
hi nick.
my lap is open to all who want to ask me for a christmas present.and regarding the mcdonald's thing...any idiot who gets a call from a motion design firm asking them to come in and work on a mcdonalds, nike, whatever gig and says no immediately, or for that matter, no at all, has not got their head on straight. man....screw the ethics and whining about killing chickens, if i didnt do it, some other lucky guy would have. i have plenty of standards/morals/ethics. this does not violate anything
- Neuarmy0
*waves a chuck too...

"if i didnt do it, some other lucky guy would have. i have plenty of standards/morals/eth ics. this does not violate anything"
it's a personal; choice. relax man. i'd probably turn it down yes...
that other people do it anyway is one of the weakest arguments i ever heard.

if you're a designer saying no to super high-profile clients because of your opinion on that company's ethics in accordance to your own - you are very special, and should be commended.
i commend you, dutchie.
oh wait, they didnt ask ya! harrr
- DutchBoy0
jesus, what the fuck is your ego problem.. and i am extremely sorry to say so, but i always notice this especially with US members of NT.
I am not trying to be cool by venting my choices in life. That is incredibly ridiculous..to think that.
It's not an ego thing, just a deep personal moral belief, that is FUCKING ALL>
- END! -
- nick0
i was kidding.
and im not chuck, im nick..i have no ego problem...
and im pretty sure he doesnt either..its all in fun man, no need to bring our nationalities into it.
what is it with Europeans thinking they're better than Americans anyways? (harr)
;)
- DutchBoy0
not thinking we're better...
sorry, i get heated up about the 'i gots hi profile clients so i am holier then thou' attitude around here.. cuz it's says little about skills only..
- nick0
that part was a joke too. (thinking your better)
because i mean.. you're obviously not.. just look at our president.. he's the fucking man. with the PLAN!
(another joke)btw, high profile clients do tend to say something about one's skeelz (imo of course)
