hey, I am thinking of grad school for the future but have no money. Besides taking out more loans, any suggestions? Scholarships to look for? advice?
Also, I have a kick ass GPA from my undergrad, recommendations and grades are no sweat.Would like to study in NYC or overseas somewhere.

I go to NYU grad... some advice. Go to an Art school. Stay far away from NYU... It's not that bad, just not worth the cash...

thanks for the NYU tip. Looking at SVA as a choice for NYC schools. But doesn't look like they give out any scholarships? maybe? I don't know.

On the west coast..I would say CalArts has the best grad program. Amazing faculty and a great cirriculum. Its also a healthy collabortive environment which is a must i think.
East coast...Yale looks very exciting..some new faculty members. Irma Boom, Karel Martens, Mevis and van Duersen (sp?). Not sure how long they are there for though. If it aint Dutch, it aint mutch eh..
I am not that familiar to what either of the schoold have to offer in terms of scholarships for grads? Just apply and see what happens.
