- Fast motion scene in the beginning made it look like a Benny Hill chase.
- It's a 2 hour action scene so half way I've lost interest on explosions and got bored.
- It's OVERPRODUCED, if you're a good filmmaker and go to shoot to the desert with expensive equipment DO NOT put a permanent orange gradient tint layer over the footage, it looks fake.
- Too much ridiculous 3d, like explosions with guitars thrown to your face... I guess that would be impressive for a 6 yr old kid in a 3d theatre.
- The overall feeling is comedy, original movies were scary/disturbing.
- I don't know... Topping the original? Ha hah hahahahahaha- Well I just watched the original yesterday and thought it was trash. Hated it. Loved the second, and love this one. Opinions yo.CygnusZero4
- Sounds like you struggle with the concept that people like different things.CygnusZero4
- It's staying faithful to the Mad Max world, so a lot of these things you mention are fairly essential to the Mad Max fan.Horp
- It's a candied version of Mad Max, when I saw the originals they kinda felt raw and for grown ups. This one it's a pretty conventional 3d blockbuster.Fatal
- Cygnus you know there's a 3rd one right? I guess if u are watching the originals and don't like them, make sense you rave about the 2015 version thingieFatal

- I said I like the seconds one a lot, didnt like the first. Havent seen the third yet. Getting to it.CygnusZero4
- The first mad max is not Trash, far from it.i_was
- The third ? the one with Tina Turner ? complete shit.i_was
- Cool opinion bro. I hated it. The 2nd one was far better. First one bored me.CygnusZero4
- The technique and direction of action alone make this film far superior than todays "conventional blockbuster"inteliboy
- It's okay not to like something, though your criticisms just sound like a bitter old man.inteliboy
- Oh yea lol, the people arguing with my opinion arent bitter at all hahaa.CygnusZero4
- Listen to yourselves guys, you sound like some schoolgirl defending Justin Bieber, get over this comment, live your life, do not insult.Fatal
- But all those comments wouldn't change the reality: This movie is Wacky Races meet Benny Hill.Fatal
- This movie was excellent. The original Mad Max was boring shit. This was far better.CygnusZero4

Just saw it - loved it! Instant classic. Felt so fresh and like real deal cinema.... cameras out in the dirt shooting crazed ideas. Something which is really rare in blockbusters these days.
- You sound like a schoolgirlFatal
- ^ This guy is so pissed people like this movie lol it makes 0 senseCygnusZero4
- In reality I loved it some much I didn't realized yet.Fatal
- 'Instant classic' So it's both an oxymoron and a vending machine coffee flavour?Eighty

It's crazy, I know a few people who worked on it, said it was a nightmare amongst certain cast/crew and the early screening didn't go down well at all. 12 months later and it seems to have turned completely around.

Saw it last night. It was great, loved it, but one big complaint, Tom Hardy. That dude has NO personality in any movie he's in. He's the new Sam Worthington, just a total boring robot actor.
He had so few lines in this movie, and the ones he did have he mumbled in that weird Bane voice. Just no charisma at all. Really bad choice for Max and is horrible when compared to Mel Gibson who has more charisma in his elbow than this guy.
There was no story either, but the movie looked great and the action was fucking nutty, and practical! Minimal CGI. Thank god after these crap Avengers CGI shit fest movies.
- Bronson?orrinward2
- dude. bronson was epic.zenmasterfoo
- Yes. Bronson. Ever think that some of the characters he plays ARE that type of personality maybe? I mean Bane, should he have been a thespian?kona

Saw this last night in 3D IMAX.
SO FUCKING AMAZING.
They paint such a rich, deep universe. So much to see and explore. I hope they make 6 more.

- I didn't see the need for 3D. did you?dorkKn1ght

[When Tom Hardy finally saw the completed Mad Max: Fury Road, his first reaction was: “Oh, my God, I owe George an apology.”
Turning to director George Miller, seated beside him at Thursday’s Cannes press conference, he explained: “I have to apologize to you, because I got frustrated [during the movie’s shoot]. There was no way that George could have explained what he had conceived.”]
