- This is what made it into a cartoon for me.ArmandoEstrada
- I thought it fit the whole thing perfectlyernexbcn
- That was awesome.sea_sea
- War parties have been doing variations of this for a long time. Given what they have to work with, totally cool with meBrokenHD
- absolutely LOVED this aspect of it. Served as appropriate score, but in the film it works as intimidation tactic, as well as moral booster.dopepope
- i cringed when this scene came on. i couldn't watch any more of this shitMilan

Well I had to book tickets to see in 3D, which was painful for me. Last 3D movie I tried to see was Lego Movie and it was so blurry I walked out and got a refund and swore I would never again go see a 3D movie, but this was all I could get. Motherfuckers.
- anyone actually have good experiences with Real 3D?CygnusZero4
- imax 3d was insane on this one. Don't know about Real 3DESKEMA

God damn, what a movie!
I heard 3D was post, so I went 2D. Loved it!

brilliant, first time a sequel betters the originals for me. Best one yet, instant classic. Some of said its all about Charlize theron's character, which it is, but max plays an equal role and the idea was always he's a petrol version of Eastwood in spaghetti westerns who helps the needy and pisses off the bad guys all in the background too an all out confrontation.

Sick movie. Reminds me a little of 300 but cooler.

It's crazy, I know a few people who worked on it, said it was a nightmare amongst certain cast/crew and the early screening didn't go down well at all. 12 months later and it seems to have turned completely around.

Saw it last night - it is absolutely bonkers - loved it!
These older cats like George Miller just know how to frame, edit and simply move a story along.
I think many newer productions lean too much on CGI to tell the story and in a sense lose their initial ideals for a film - they become a visually focused piece instead of melding story, character and visual together.
I thought MM was a wonderfully fully realized product - edge of the seat action with feminist and religious undertones set in a chaotic desert of humanity's own doing.
Bring on Mad Max 2 George - can't wait.

Long movie, no twists or surprises. Good action, cool cars. Story? Not really.
Leaves opening for sequels.

Best action movie in a long time. Maybe even better than the original Mad Max?
I think part of the success of a movie like this is that they don't try to take on too much. No unnecessary plotlines other than what is needed to tell the main story.
At the same time it wasn't just dumb action and CGI explosions like your typical Hollywood movie. There was a real sense of pacing and suspense that made it unpredictable and fun to watch.

[When Tom Hardy finally saw the completed Mad Max: Fury Road, his first reaction was: “Oh, my God, I owe George an apology.”
Turning to director George Miller, seated beside him at Thursday’s Cannes press conference, he explained: “I have to apologize to you, because I got frustrated [during the movie’s shoot]. There was no way that George could have explained what he had conceived.”]

Saw it last night. It was great, loved it, but one big complaint, Tom Hardy. That dude has NO personality in any movie he's in. He's the new Sam Worthington, just a total boring robot actor.
He had so few lines in this movie, and the ones he did have he mumbled in that weird Bane voice. Just no charisma at all. Really bad choice for Max and is horrible when compared to Mel Gibson who has more charisma in his elbow than this guy.
There was no story either, but the movie looked great and the action was fucking nutty, and practical! Minimal CGI. Thank god after these crap Avengers CGI shit fest movies.
- Bronson?orrinward2
- dude. bronson was epic.zenmasterfoo
- Yes. Bronson. Ever think that some of the characters he plays ARE that type of personality maybe? I mean Bane, should he have been a thespian?kona

Why did Charlize Theron's character have authority? Who was she?
- I agree. Lots of holes in the plot. No background info on any of the main characters. Why did that ugly guy have so much power. I have questions!sea_sea
- Whether or not you have questions, you have to admit it was still pretty fucking good.Ianbolton
- Not having background doesn't mean there are holes in the plot.cannonball1978
- Because the guy who controlled the water said she did. There you go.digitdaily
- never said i didn't like it. relax your whorses.sea_sea
- Maybe sh's infertile, but smart and a natural born leader who earned the necessary trust. Fun to think about. Not a plot hole.BrokenHD

Fucking loved it.
It's not perfect but as a piece of entertainment, it works.
Plus didn't realise one of my favourite comic illustrators, Brendan McCarthy (from early 2000ad) was involved...early concept art...
http://www.premiere.fr/Cinema/Ph…- Apparently originally it was going to be an animated movieyuekit

Since I liked this movie so much, I went back and watched the first 2 which I never saw before. I didnt like the first Mad Max at all, but the second one, Road Warrior was really good. So much better and much more of what I was expecting after seeing Fury Road.
- The first Mad Max is the epitome of what every action movie today should be. Instead of every damn thing on the screen moving at once which makes it...kona
- impossible to focus in and follow one thing, Mad Max is the opposite, which allows you to become fully immersed in the movie. The final shot is probably one...kona
- of the greatest ever.kona
- Good, Road Warrior is great.i_was
